Today, TRN Systems announced new software product, TRN EHealthRec–a scalable Electronic health records management software product. The new product is scheduled to be released in March 2014 and will be sold to health care providers across the USA.
TRN EHealthRec: The new patient electronic health record system and the patient and employee portals will help to improve the quality of healthcare, while increasing the efficiency of the medical center’s operations. Such as the prescription and administration of medication will be turned into a digital process, which will enhance patient safety.
The North American market for electronic health care will grow to $5.4 billion annually by 2015, according to a forecast from Global Industry Analysts. American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, which is pumping about $25 billion into the U.S. health IT industry over the next eight years in the form of Medicare and Medicaid bonus payments to providers for EMR usage. There are prolific opportunities in less-penetrated markets as physician practices and inpatient centers continue to adopt electronic medical records and digitize relevant areas. Though the operating costs are high and continue to increase, providers are sizing up their portfolio for better positioning in the future. TRN EHealthRec is leveraging the additional focus by industry players to support streamlined process. Another area of focus for TRN EHealthRec will be growing demand for software interfaces that improve the portability of data.
